Addiction is a life-threatening illness from which you can be completely healed.

The healing has three stages:

  • Learning new skills for difficult thoughts and feelings
  • Stabilizing a life of purpose, creativity and spirituality
AA co-founder Bill Wilson called these stages the development of a new consciousness. A new consciousness – no more abuse, emotionally educated, spiritually exploring – leads to feeling comfortable in your own skin and at home in life as life is.
